Roosevelt University offers a 3-semester graduate certificate in Bilingual/ESL Education! For decades, RU has been expanding teachers’ expertise in teaching students learning English as a second language.

Students in this program should have an IL professional teaching license. Graduates of this program can continue coursework to receive a MA degree in Second Language Special Education or Literacy Leadership/Reading Specialist.
