    Experience Student Life at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts!

    During CCPA Experience Days, you will have the opportunity to connect with faculty and current students, take a campus tour, observe classes and rehearsals, attend performances, and explore the wide range of programs we offer. You’ll get a front-row seat to classes and rehearsals led by our world-class faculty, offering a glimpse into the supportive and inspiring environment that helps our students grow as artists and scholars. Students and families are welcome to attend multiple event days. Events are optional, and you can stay for any portion of the day/evening. Please note, only admitted students may attend in-session classes and rehearsals.

    -9:30am-10:45am: Musicianship II (Music Theory)
    -11am-11:50am: Improvisation II (Jazz)
    -11am-12:15pm: Special Topic in Music Theory: Minimalism Analysis, Composition, and Performance
    -12:30pm-1:45pm: Arts Education & Community Engagement (Music Education class)
    -12:30pm-1:20pm: Essentials of Jazz II
    -12:30pm-1:45pm: Composition and Arranging II (Jazz)
    -12:30pm-1:30pm: Language Skills for Singers IV
    -12:30pm-1:45pm: Special Topics: Opera as a Global Citizen (Master's students only)
    -1pm-2pm: Principles of Collaborative Piano
    -2pm-4pm: Contemporary Ensemble Rehearsal and Sound Check
    -2pm-5pm: Opera Ensemble Rehearsal
    -4:15pm-5:30pm: Composition Seminar
    -4:15pm-5:45pm: Large Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal

    Your admissions counselor will be in contact with a schedule of observations that are most relevant to your major!

    (Please note, rehearsal, performance, and class attendance is subject to space availability; the CCPA Enrollment Team will do our best to schedule these on a first-come, first-serve basis)
